JU4N Is Back with a New Album

Shaping a beautifully distinct auditory environment all his own, Austin-based electronic composer Juan Cisneros known as JU4N, fuses elements of new age, neoclassical and modern jazz into uniquely conceptual pieces on this latest album Enhanced Interior Landscapes. Utilizing the expressive sound design capabilities of FM synthesis as his canvas, Cisneros dives head first into avant-minimalism via MIDI-controlled sequencing on both vintage hardware and modern software. Fractured melodies playfully coalesce into multilayered compositions as they course through a colorful cast of hyperreal soundscapes and morphing polyrhythms. Beyond the shimmering crystal bells and glassy digital piano, Cisneros’ imaginative exploration of tone and understated complexity reach new heights of refinement with each passing phrase.

Future Museums' New Album is Out Now

Continuing to re-define the shape and sound of his work, Austin-based multi-instrumentalist Neil Lord returns as new age/krautrock veteran Future Museums with an all electronic album titled Pre-Form. After spending a year-and-a-half on the road playing guitar and keys for singer-songwriters Molly Burch (Captured Tracks) and Jess Williamson (Mexican Summer), Lord re-engaged with his experimental roots for an immersive synth-based excursion inspired by his own lucid dreams and out-of-body experiences.

After releasing music videos for every other song on the track list, Future Museums unveils the video for the final song "11 11" today in celebration of the album release. Thanks to the amazing video-synth work of Dallas-based visual-artist CINEMA.AV this awesome collaboration has come together for this ultimate full album, multi-media experience.

Future Museums Returns with a New Album

Future Museums released a couple of sneak peeks of this pre-Covid produced album last year with music videos for "Leaving the Vessel" and "Rabbit in Passing" and has plans to continue dropping videos for every song on the record until it's release on March 19th. Delivering an experimental dose of beautifully stark minimalism, Austin-based acoustic-electric duo FiRES WERE SHOT returns with the new single “Dirtdobber.” For over twenty years, John Wilkins and Clay Walton have been writing and producing innovative acoustic guitar duets through the use of colorful effects, abstract playing techniques and warping tape manipulation.
